Artist call and prompt

What strange and specific seasons have you encountered in New York City? While Japan’s seasons are rooted in nature, we are looking for kō entries that represent the niche experience of New York’s seasons, so feel free to think more broadly. You are also welcome to submit multiple or continuous (running gag) pieces. Submissions do not need to align with a precise date (sekki will be edited together once all pieces are complete), but do include a (1) rough time frame for your kō and (2) a poetic name for it. Any illustration style is welcome.

Example of a late winter entry: Snow thaws to reveal glove graveyard (first week of March). [illustration of mismatched gloves poking out of the icy ground]
